Help For The Homeless Of San Fernando

On Sunday, the homeless of San Fernando and surrounding areas will be getting a lot of love as volunteers come together to support them.

The weekend should start bright but there will be some showers. 

Meteorologist Ean Wallace has the weather outlook for the Caribbean this weekend. 

Minister of Finance, Colm Imbert, says Government has purchased a brand new passenger/vehicle vessel at a cost of US$17.4 million, to service the inter-island sea bridge.

The Minister of Finance has taken note of an article in the Newsday of Friday January 12th, 2018, with the headline “Slow Boat To ‘Bago”. The article claims that the Government is negotiating with a company in Singapore by the name of Singapore Technologies Marine Limited to purchase what the newspaper has described as a very large and fancy cruise ferry, built in Singapore, and equipped with a helicopter landing pad and entertainment facilities, among other things.
