Stronger Community Life Can Stem Crime

Residents of the Hope community in Tobago are of the view that solutions to crime, safety, and security in the country stem from building stronger communities.

The President of the Public Services Association (PSA), Watson Duke, has written to the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance warning that the OSH inspector carry out a thorough inspection of all buildings where its members work to verify the compliance of these buildings with the OSH Act 2004.


On behalf of the Government of Trinidad and Tobago, the National Emergency Operations Centre (NEOC) is currently coordinating assessments of all critical infrastructure, government buildings, and roadways, subsequent to seismic activity.

Finance Manager On 88 Fraud Charges

A woman charged with 88 counts of fraud, amounting to $1.3 million against her employer, is expected to appear before a Tunapuna Magistrate on Friday.
