Health officials are expected to conduct sanitation exercises at the Sacred Heart Boys Roman Catholic Primary School on Thursday.
The school was temporarily shut down on Wednesday due to a chicken pox outbreak.
Over 20 students are said to have contracted the virus.
Speaking with C News on Thursday morning president of the Trinidad and Tobago Unified Teachers Association, Davanand Sinanan, said all health and safety procedures were followed and the school was evacuated.
