It could be termed taking care of your own as the Trinidad and Tobago Football Association has stepped in to stabilize its major and second tier leagues by funding their operations in 2017.
The new executive board of the Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee was sworn in on Thursday morning with some familiar faces taking the oath of office.
Returning president Brian Lewis applauded his fellow executives for accepting the challenge, and warned that their oaths will be tested. But the TTOC is committed to developing a vibrant and valuable future for all athletes particularly the younger ones.

Victory! West Indies Defeat Pakistan

It was a result West Indies supporters and cricket lovers have been yearning for a victory by the West Indies, a test victory in particular.

The National Lotteries Control Board NACAC age group championships will take place on 17th and 18th at the Hasely Crawford Stadium featuring the regions young and upcoming athletes between the ages of 11- 12 taking part in the pentathlon and athletes between the ages of 12 to 13 taking part in the heptathlon.

Kent Fuentes was present for the event's launch.


There has been much said about the Brian Lara Cricket Academy which swung open its doors to the public recently.

Action in the Trinidad and Tobago Volleyball Federation's league continued with action in the various divisions of the competition.
