W Connection Defeat Morvant Caledonia United

With a 3-nil win against Morvant Caledonia United on Friday night, W Connection is holding onto the lead in the TT Pro League and forcing 2-time back to back champions, Central F.C to be on point.

With a game in hand 5 points adrift of Connection it could go south for the champs with the wrong result against Point Fortin Civic Center on Saturday.

Meanwhile there were also wins for Ma Pau Stars and San Juan Jabloteh on the latest match-day.

Apparently the TTFA could not wait until Monday, which was the original date they themselves set for the revelation of the new men's senior team head coach.

A press release from the association on Saturday confirmed what C-Sports reported on Friday night and that is, that Dennis Lawrence has agreed to take the job.
