The Men's Mile Relay Team not surprisingly picked up the Sportsman of the Year honour at the annual TTOC awards ceremony held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel on Friday evening.

W Connection Wins FA Cup For 5th Time

W Connection was crowned FA Cup champions for the 5th time in their history when they defeated Police FC by three goals to one in the finals played at the Ato Boldon Stadium on Friday evening.

A goal on either side of half time from Surinamese international Dimitrie Apai helped Directv W/Connections lift a record eighth First Citizen's Cup title at the Ato Boldon Stadium on Friday night.

Apai also picked up the finals’ MVP and Best Forward honours as Connections ran off 3-1 winners over holders the TT Defence Force as Ruskin Mark explains.

It's a battle royale in the final of the First Citizen's Cup Series where the defending champs the Defence Force will face seven times former champs W/Connections for all the marbles.

Connections turned back Club Sando 2-0 to reach their tenth final in the competition while the Tetron boys had to dig deep to overcome plucky Pt. Fortin Civic as Ruskin Mark explains.

Trinity East Climbs Table In SSFL

There was action around the country on Saturday in the Secondary Schools Football League.

Trinity East had earlier climbed to sixth on the table after turning back St. Augustine as Ruskin Mark explains.
