The touring secondary schools national boys team won the English School's Cricket Association Cricket Festival title when they defeated Essex by 3 runs.
Young aspiring footballers between the ages of 7-12 from across Trinidad and Tobago have had their skills tested over the past few weeks at various venues across the country. All in the hopes of finishing in the top three and win a chance to travel with a parent to Barcelona Football Club to meet players and experience the Spanish football giants at home.
 
The Skills Tournament concluded with excitement on Saturday as the three winners celebrated with their peers.

To the TT Pro League now, where San Juan Jabloteh jumped to the top of the standings with a 2-0 win over plucky St. Ann's Rangers, reaching ten points, one more than W/Connections, who lost their unbeaten run in stunning fashion against Police.
 
The lawmen, who were winless coming into this one certainly didn't look like the underdogs as they took the fight to the Savonetta Boys, and came close on a number of occasions.
Special Olympics Trinidad and Tobago held its annual cricket day which gives participants the opportunity to show off their skill sets and learn new ones from coaches on hand.
 
Special Olympic athletes came from the more well-known schools across T&T to participate in the activities. Majorie Thomas, head cricket coach of Special Olympics T&T is imploring others in society for more support of these special athletes.
 
A large crowd got their fill at the recent Sportsworld Classic held at NAPA.
 
Apart from some stiff competition in the various body-building and fitness categories, the crowd more than had their fill when the specially invited guests posed on stage and literally broke down the house.
