Ban On Brazil Meat Imports Still In Effect

The ban on imports of all meat products from Brazil remains in effect.

Senior officers in the Eastern Division are maintaining that they have had the highest detection rate for serious crimes in Trinidad for the past nine years.

The Ministry of Education schools the media on the use of the word 'suspension.'

Minister of Education, Anthony Garcia, and Chief Education Officer, Harrilal Seecharan, spoke to Good Morning Trinidad and Tobago host Dike Rostant today about some issues affecting the education system. One of the major points of the decision was the subject of school violence; Minister Garcia said according to the data at the Ministry the incidents of school violence are down, but public perception of an increase is being shaped by the traditional and social media.
