Latin Dancer will not race in the St Ann’s Stakes on Saturday.
Trainer Glenn Mendez has confirmed the pre-race favorite for the Grade One 1,350-metre Secretary of Tourism and Transportation sponsored event has been scratched.
Mendez told the Trinidad Express on Wednesday that the filly will not be in the ten-horse line-up.
The St Ann’s Stakes is the seventh race of ten on the Boxing Day holiday card at Santa Rosa Park.
Mendez told the Express, " We are not 100 per cent sure what is the problem, but she is sore on her left foreleg. We are trying to figure out what it is."
