The two-day Junior National Track And Field Championships is drawing to a close this evening with the 200-metres final taking pride of place.

But last evening the shorter sprints held pride of place and  in the absence of the slightly injured favorite Khalifa St Fort, her training partner Sara Wollaston took full advantage and sped down the track to register victory in 12.04 seconds, ahead of Skyla Walcott of Simplex, with Jada Barker of Cougars filling third in 12.26-seconds.

meanwhile, the boys under 20 was all Akanni Hislop of Tobago's Zenith, and the hometown favorite looked fine running from the front and hit the tape first in 10.57-seconds, just ahead of Chad Richards, with Jerod Elcock filling third.

In the under-18 boys century, it was Clement Campbell of Memphis who just nosed out Onil Mitchell of Pt Fortin New Jets with a 10.94-seconds clocking to 10.95 by Mitchell, while Jamal Andrews of Simplex flashed across in third.
