Greaux Brings Home Gold At NACAC Championships

Kyle Greux was among the Gold Medal winners on the final day of the NACAC Championships in Toronto, Canada.

He won the Men's 200 Metres in a time of 20.11 seconds, ahead of Canadian Aaron Brown, who clocked 20.20 seconds

T&T's Cleopatra Borel was also a medal winner, earning Silver in the shot put. She threw the iron ball 17.83 metres. American Maggie Ewen won Gold with an effort of 18.22 seconds

In other efforts during the final day, Long jumper Andwelle Wright was 5th, with a jump of 7.93 metres. Marquis Dendy won Gold with a leap of 8.29 metres

Ayanna Alexander was 6th in the Women's Triple Jump, with an effort of 12.95 metres. Jamaican Shanieka Ricketts won Gold with 14.25 metres.

Back on the track, Sparkle Mc Knight, in the 400 Metres Women, placed 6th, with a time of 56.33 seconds. American Shamier Little won with a time of 53.32 seconds.

Jehue Gordon was 7th in the Men's version in 50.12 seconds. Kyron Mc Master of the British Virgin Islands won Gold in 48.18 seconds.

In the 200 Metres for Women, Semoy Hacket was 5th in 23.27 seconds, and Reyare Thomas 8th in 23.13. Jamaican Shericka Jackson won in 22.64.

The TT Men's 4x100 Metre team won Bronze in 38.89 seconds, Canada won in 38.56, while Jamaica was 4th.

The Women’s 4x100M team did not start, neither did Akeem Stewart take his place in the Discus Final.
