CPL Bowls Off At The Oval Tonight

The 6th edition of the Caribbean Premier League will bowl off at the Queen's Park Oval with defending champions, the Trinbago Knight Riders, taking on the St. Lucia Stars.

The Knight Riders have won the tournament on two occasions and would want to get their title defence off to a positive start when they face a strong Stars team now featuring the likes of Keiron Pollard, Lendl Simmons, Darren Sammy and David Warner.

Not to be outdone, the Knight Riders have some seasoned campaigners of their own, led by captain Dwayne Bravo, along with Sunil Narine, Brendon Mc Cullum, Chris Lynn and Darren Bravo.

The teams have met 10 times with the Knight Riders winning on seven occasions.
