Queen’s Park moved to the top of the Trinidad and Tobago Super League with a 4-2 victory over San Fernando Giants last evening at the St. Mary’s College Ground.

The scores were level 1-1, when Glen Walker gave them a 2-1 lead in the 30th minute.

Four minutes later, Elton John added a third as Queen’s Park led 3-1 at the half.

In the 79th minute, Sean de Silva got Queens Park the 4th goal, as they extended their lead.

With six minutes to go, Andrei Pacheco got a second for the Sando Giants. However, Queen’s Park held on for the 4-2 victory that took them top of the Trinidad and Tobago Super League.

In another match in the League, UTT squandered a host of chances and had to share the spoils with Petit Valley/Diego Martin in another key game for both teams in the TT Super League.

Ruskin Mark has details on that game.
