The recent decision by the Court of Arbitration for Sport to throw out the appeal by Jamaican Sprinter Nesta Carter over his positive drug test clears the way for the Jamaicans to return their medals and have the names expunged from the record books.

The new champions of the London 2012 Olympics Sprint Relay should be Trinidad and Tobago, but there is no word yet on when exactly that will become official.

There is a move in some quarters to have the medals presented at the next Olympic games so the athletes get the feel of the Olympic atmosphere and hear the anthem played.

But that said, Lewis is also adamant that there needs to be checks and balances in all organisations, including WADA, which has recently been granted unfettered authority which isn't sitting well in some circles.
