T&T Ladies Serve Off

With little or no preparation time, the National Women's Volleyball Team is set to serve off its campaign at the NORCECA Women's Challenge Cup in Edmonton, Canada from Thursday until Sunday. 

The Renele Forde-led squad will play round-robin matches in the pool and faces hosts Canada on Thursday, before facing Costa Rica on Friday, with the top-ranked team advances to the final against the winner of pool `B' which comprises Cuba, Nicaragua and Puerto Rico.

All matches are set for the Edmonton Expo Centre Hall D, from which the winner will qualify to the five Volleyball Nations League Challenge Cup Finals.

T&T is coached by Cuban-born Cruz and the team includes the overseas-based quartet of former Captain Krystle Esdelle, Channon Thompson,  Darlene Ramdin and Forde, while another former Captain in Kelly-Ann Billingy, helps solidify a highly potent unit.
