An 18-man Trinidad and Tobago Under-20 men's team departed these shores for Guadeloupe on Tuesday morning to contest the six-nation Guadeloupe Invitational Tourney from May 18th - 21st.

T&T will open their campaign against Costa Rica's National Under-20 team on Saturday and will meet Martinique's U-20s the following day, and Coach Russell Latapy is keen to see how this particular group gets along.

The other teams competing include hosts Guadeloupe, French Guiana and Haiti, with the group winners to determiner the tournament champs on Monday.

T&T's preparing for the CONCACAF Under-20 World Cup Qualifiers in November, but Latapy is still keen to see how well they understand the technical process that is being taught to them in training.
