Thursday marked Day One of the 111th edition of the Trinidad and Tobago Open at the St. Andrews Golf Course in Moka.

Of the 147 golfers taking part, 47 are foreign golfers trying to get their hand on the prize of one of the longest-running Golf Tournaments in the Caribbean.

Chris Harries, Director of Golf at the Trinidad and Tobago Golf Association, says despite the defending champions not returning, they are expecting keen competition on the greens at the St. Andrews Golf Course.
