New Wave Of Female Cricket Stars

A new season of the Secondary Schools Cricket League for girls bowled off at two venues in North Trinidad on Thursday.

Graduating from the windball competition, the young ladies took to the hard ball version as many of them look to make the step up to representing the national teams at both junior and senior levels.

Immediately after the official opening, the teams faced off in healthy competition, some at Fatima College ground and others over at QRC, as they eye major honours at season's end.
