Chess Ace Della Marie Walcott's Parents Hoping For Full Recovery

In 2016, Della Marie Walcott, one of this country's rising stars in the game of chess, fell into a coma from which she is yet to awake.

Since then, she has been under the care of her parents and a dedicated medical staff which cares for her day to day needs.

Her parents, Dominic and Debora Walcott, said through faith and care, their daughter, who will celebrate her 17th birthday on Friday, will be back as “the boss of the house” one day.

Kent Fuentes spoke to her parents in the first of this two-part interview.
