Allrounder Rayad Emrit will be playing in the Regional Super-50 Tournament after all, as he is a replacement for the TT Red Force outfit.

Emrit, a former captain of the TT team, is a crucial addition to fill in for Sheldon Cottrell, who will assume West Indies duties shortly.

In addition to Emrit, off-spinner Jon Ross Jagessar and Kamil Pooran will also join the team as replacements for Jason Mohammed and Evin Lewis, who, along with Cottrell, will be heading off on West Indies duty.

The TTCB is allowed to make these changes as part of the competition regulations, which states that a team can play a replacement only if a player is injured or called up to the West Indies team.

T&T cannot however replace mystery spinner Sunil Narine when he leaves and heads over to the Pakistani Premier League.
