It's not quite an American invasion, but several swimmers and divers from universities in Canada and the United States are here to use the National Aquatic Centre in Couva.

At present seven teams from up north are here to utilise the facilities in Couva as part of their Winter Training Programmes.

This follows on the heels of an inaugural visit by team camo from Montreal last year, which opened the door for another ten swimming and diving teams this year.

Among the teams already here are the Colombia University Swim and Dive Team, Duke University Dive Team, CAMO Natation from Canada as well as the National Paralympic Swim team from Canada.
