There continue to be mixed results for Trinidad and Tobago at the prestigious 2017 Indoor Pan-American Hockey Cup at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall, Georgetown, Guyana.

The TT men's team registered their third win on the trot, in the Round-Robin competition, turning back neighbours Barbados 8-2 on Wednesday.

The Bajans opened the scoring in the 5th minute but TT equalised two minutes later through Marcus James then the floodgates opened.

Hattricks for Jordan Vieira and Australia-based Akim Toussaint ensured TT stayed perfect with three wins in as many outings and remain on a collision course with tournament favourites Canada whom they face on Friday.

TT also celebrated wins over hosts Guyana 4-NIL and pulled the upset on Argentina 5-2 to start their campaign on Monday.

But the women's team hasn't been as lucky losing all of their matches so far, including a 3-NIL loss to Canada on Wednesday afternoon.
