The mercury is rising on Ariapita Avenue as Cycling on the Avenue 6 is all set to go, with a large crowd gathering to witness the riders in action on Wednesday night.

Riders from all over the world are here for this event, some of them holdovers from the big Tobago Cycle Classic, and the former local king of the road, Emile Abraham, is eager to race in front of his home fans.

Action pedals off with the electrifying 200M standing start sprint for invitational and international riders, which will whet the appetites ahead of the main event, which takes the riders around the circuit 35 times.
