Former National Road Race Champion Emile Abraham is all set to go in next week's much-anticipated Tobago International Cycle Classic which is set to pedal off from September 27th through October 1st.

Abraham, who once dominated this event, is hoping to mount the podium again this year, as he is now in the twilight of his competitive career.

But while the organisers are happy that Emile is back they are lamenting the amount of riders who have been forced out of the event this year due to hurricane damage in their respective countries.

Chief organiser Jeff Charles said that, within the last week, he has lost riders from St. Martin, Guadeloupe, Miami and Dominican Republic.

It is also not certain if defending champion James Piccoli of Canada will return to defend his crown, but as many as 12 international teams will be competing for top honours again this year.
