Joevin Jones Sits Out Seattle Sounders' Clash With L.A. Galaxy

National standout Joevin Jones was forced to watch from the stands when his team, the Seattle Sounders, battled the L.A. Galaxy in the MLS on Sunday.

Jones was noticeably absent from the final squad chosen for the mega clash with Galaxy, one of the premier franchises in MLS history.

His recent early unsanctioned return to Trinidad ahead of the Jamaica friendly and subsequent two World Cup Qualifiers with Honduras and Panama didn't go down well with Sounders Coach Brian Schmetzer, who indicated late last week that the matter was being dealt with internally.
