Chess enthusiasts are in for the opportunity of a lifetime as the TT Chess Association will be hosting a FIDE Trainers' Seminar from May 19th to 21st, 2017.

The seminar, to be conducted by the CEO of the World Chess Federation Geoffrey Borg, will help educate and certify Trainers and Chess Teachers on an international level, which will enable participants to be eligible for the Developmental Instructor (DI), National Instructor (NI) or FIDE Instructor (FI) designations.

Mr. Borg will also meet with the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs, the Ministry of Education, the TTOC as well as the Department of Education Youth and Sport in Tobago.
