Two men, a 38 year old and a 49 year old, both of Point Fortin, were arrested and 3kgs of marijuana seized by officers of the Highway Patrol South Base around 9:50pm on 16.06.18. Officers were on mobile patrol along the M2 Ringroad, Debe when they had cause to stop a silver Nissan Sylphy motor vehicle with two male occupants. A search of the vehicle resulted in officers discovering a black plastic bag containing the drug which has an estimated street value of $30,000.

Jack Warner has denied that he has to raise $3.7m to repay a judgment debt.

Last month it was reported that Warner has 120 days to present the sum or be forced to sell three apartments at the Emerald Plaza Hotel following a ruling by Justice Frank Seepersad.
