Port Authority: Information Received Suggests Management Evaluation Committee Stage Of Procurement Process Of Ferries May Have Been Compromised

The port authority says it has received information which suggests that the management evaluation committee stage of the procurement process may have been compromised in relation to the time charter of vessels to service the interisland sea-bridge.
In a statement issued on Tuesday night, PATT said an investigation into the procurement process has been launched. It said the board of the port authority has put measures in place in order to ensure that the investigation is properly executed. 
The port authority noted steps have been taken to facilitate the investigation consistent with proper industrial relations practices.
