The Water and Sewerage Authority (“the Authority”) advises customers in parts of Lopinot, Arouca, served by the Surrey Intake, who are experiencing low water pressures and at times no water that this is as a result of significantly reduced production from the surface water source, brought on by the Dry Season conditions.

This has led to the following temporary supply schedules being instituted:

Area Schedules
Mc David: Mon 10:00pm - Tues 5:00am; Thurs 10:00pm - Fri 5:00am
Surrey Village: Tues 10:00pm - Wed 5:00am; Fri 10:00pm - Sat 5:00am
Soap Hill: Wed 10:00pm - Thurs 5:00am; Sat 10:00pm - Sun 5:00am

The Authority has also commenced works on the development of a new water intake at Mc David Trace, Lopinot, to supplement the existing supply shortfall to Mc David Trace and Soap Hill. These works are currently ongoing and are expected to be completed in the next three (3) weeks.

The Authority apologises for the inconvenience and thanks customers for their patience and understanding.
