Port of Spain, March 8th, 2017 – The Trinidad & Tobago International Financial Centre (Trinidad & Tobago IFC) through its creative partner, Lonsdale Saatchi and Saatchi, has been awarded a Gold ADDY at the Caribbean Advertising Federation (CAF)/American Advertising ADDY Awards (formerly the ADDY Awards) for its Trinidad & Tobago IFC Competitive Advantage booklet.

This publication details Trinidad and Tobago’s attributes as a preferred nearshore location for Finance and Accounting (F&A) Business Process Outsourcing. First distributed and viewed by international delegates at the June 2016 Trinidad and Tobago International Outsourcing Summit (now available for download at www.ttifc.co.tt), it helped advance Trinidad and Tobago’s international positioning effort as it provided potential investors with an understanding of the several factors that contribute to the competitive advantage of investing in this country.

The ADDY Awards is the world’s largest advertising competition with over 50,000 entries annually, and is run by the American Advertising Federation. The CAF is the first and only non-American member of the American Advertising Federation. The mission of the competition is to recognise and reward the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising.

A GOLD ADDY is recognition of the highest level of creative distinction and is judged to be superior to all other entries in the category. The number of awards given in each category is determined by the judges, based on the relative quality of work in that category.

Mr. Richard P. Young, Chairman of the Trinidad & Tobago IFC noted that the award reflected the Trinidad & Tobago IFC’s consistent commitment to excellence in promoting Trinidad and Tobago’s unique BPO value proposition.

“It is with great pride that we receive this award,” he said, “indeed, this recognition bolsters our drive to continue creating opportunities and devising innovative and outstanding ways of demonstrating Trinidad and Tobago’s exceptional value to the world.”
