Small craft operators, sea bathers and all other marine interests are advised to exercise caution in any sea related activities as a result of the rough seas and high tide.

The MET Office said there is a long period swell event that is affecting sheltered coastlines of Trinidad & Tobago and the North Coast of Trinidad.

These swells were generated by a distant disturbance in the Northern Atlantic Ocean and are forecast to affect coastlines for at least the next 2-3 days.
