National Security Ministry Sets Out To Improve Immigration Services at Piarco International Airport

The Ministry of National Security has set out to improve immigration services rendered to the public at the Piarco International Airport.

According to a release by the ministry a number of initiatives have been embarked upon that will ensure “prompt service in an atmosphere of courtesy and professionalism.”

The ministry says as part of the ongoing process Immigration Officers have undergone customer relations and sensitivity training. And a dedicated facility at the airport has been completed to accommodate passengers whose requests for entry into T&T require further processing.

The release further stated that ministry’s goal is to maintain the integrity of the immigration process and to treat passengers in a manner befitting the high standards expected at one of the country's main ports of entry.
