The Occupational Safety and Health Authority and Agency wishes to advise the public that contrary to recent statements made regarding the employment of Safety and Health Inspectors, the Agency is not without Safety and Health Inspectors.

Currently OSHA is engaged in contract renewal for a group of inspectors. These contracts are being processed and we expect ratification in the very near future.

We want to remind the public of our commitment to ensuring that all workplaces in Trinidad and Tobago are safe and healthy in accordance with the OSH Act Chap. 88:08.
