Petrotrin Completes Beach Cleanup

Petrotrin says it has completed the clean-up of oil deposits found on beaches along the South-western Peninsula. 

On the 3rd and 4th August, the company started clean-up activities at Mosquito Creek and along beaches in La Brea, Vessigny, Clifton Hill/ Guapo, and Cedros after confirming reports of oil sightings in these areas.

Petrotrin says while its officials have completed clean-up operations, the Company continues to monitor the shoreline on a daily basis and to liaise with all stakeholders as part of its response efforts in keeping with its commitment to ensure safe and reliable operations.
