Commissioner of Police (Ag.), Stephen Williams, has expressed shock and sadness over the shooting death of special reserve police officer, No.9719 JASON CYRIL JOHN. The officer had only recently enlisted in the service on October 24th, 2015 and was attached to the Court and Process Branch.
The Ministry of National Security’s Trinidad and Tobago Regiment mourns the death of 9666 Corporal Jerry Leacock who lost his life on Tuesday 24th May 2016. Reports are that at approximately 5:30 a.m., Corporal Leacock, while off duty, was shot at his home in Arima during a robbery. He was rushed to the Arima Health Facility for treatment but succumbed to his injuries.
