Port-of-Spain, April 7, 2017: The Ministry of Health wishes to assure the public that the Board of Management of the Children’s Life Fund Authority, and by extension the Ministry of Health, treats all applications for a grant of funding from the Children’s Life Fund with urgency, sensitivity and fairness in accordance with the existing legal framework. Under this administration, over fifty (50) applications for financial support via the Children’s Life Fund were approved between September 2015 and April 2017.

Today we celebrate World Health Day and the Ministry of Health is urging the public to be more informed about treating with symptoms of depression.

Father Harvey: T&T Needs Radical Change

Attorney Gerald Ramdeen prepared to sue government for Children's Life Fund $$ to assist four year Shannon Luke who is in need of major surgery; and Director of Public Prosecutions Roger Gaspard says there is already a form of plea bargaining in the judicial system, even without the proposed legislation in place.
