T&T’s culinary team for the annual Taste of the Caribbean competition in Miami is all set to conquer once again having won the competition back in 2016.
The team got a last chance to practice and showcase their abilities on Monday evening in Woodbrook and are hoping that this country's unique fusion of tastes works for us again.

While Labour Unions were marching in Fyzabad, the Member of Parliament for Caroni Central, Dr. Bhoendradatt Tewarie, held an anti crime march to protest against crime and criminality in his constituency.
This march against crime was supported by the Chaguanas Mayor, Gopaul Boodan, and Tabaquite MP Dr. Surujrattan Rambachan.

Labour Day in Trinidad and Tobago was declared an annual national holiday in 1973. It's the anniversary of the day of the Butler Oilfield Riots which took place in 1937.
Trade Unions braved the rains and filled the streets of Fyzabad on Tuesday morning to commemorate Tubal Uriah "Buzz" Butler's work for the improvement of the working class.
Many of the union leaders used the opportunity to express their dissatisfaction with the way workers are currently treated in this country.
