The Ministry of Education has congratulated the new President of the National Parent Teachers Association (NPTA), Mrs. Raffiena Ali-Boodoosingh.

The Minister of Education Anthony Garcia and the Oilfields Workers’ Trade Union will continue to work together to address concerns over the future of the University of Trinidad and Tobago, and the staff members the Union represents.

The Law Association is calling for Chief Justive Ivor Archie to publicly address allegations leveled against him in a recent newspaper article, even though it notes the charge levelled against the CJ is as yet unsubstantiated.
