TTPS wishes to correct a report carried in a daily newspaper on June 15th, 2016, headlined 'more keys go missing ... cops called in'.

There is no such truth to the story.

On June 11th a prison officer attached to the POS Prison made a report to the Central Police Station that upon his resumption to duty he discovered his locker broken into and that 'personal effects' were missing.

No property belonging to the prison was reported missing including 'keys'.

The report is being investigated.
