OWTU Wants Final Figure On Retrenched Petrotrin Workers

Research and Education Officer at the Oilfields Workers’ Trade Union, Ozzi Warwick, says State-owned Petrotin needs to outline exactly how many workers will be laid off with the shutdown of the company's refinery.

On Tuesday, it was announced that over 2,500 employees would be affected, with over 1,000 refinery jobs to be terminated.

Mr. Warwick said the number of affected people is not clear.
