Extra Security Given To Contractors In Beetham Gardens

The regiment is providing extra security for a contractor in Beetham Gardens, to ensure workers and equipment are not targeted by criminals.  

Mere days before floodwaters affected the Beetham community, a contractor working on clearing a watercourse in the Beetham was threatened into stopping work on the site.

Minister of Works and Transport Rohanm Sinanan and Laventille West Mp Fitzgerald Hinds were on site on Saturday as work resumed, under the watch of the regiment.
