On Thursday evening Mr. Ragoonanan appeared before the party's disciplinary committee at Balisier House. CNews caught up with him as he left following the meeting where he shared with us what transpired.
Mr. Ragoonanan maintains that he cannot defend himself unless there is full disclosure of the findings of the investigation. Last Sunday, Mr. Ragoonanan claimed he was persecuted by the PNM because of his objections concerning the T&T Express, T&T Spirit and the Galleons Passage.
However, Acting Attorney General, Fitzgerald Hinds, and the Prime Minister are both on record indicating that Mr. Ragoonanan is being investigated on allegations of corruption regarding the purchase of buses for the Public Transport Service Corporation.
