FIB Making Gains In Money Laundering & Terrorist Financing Probes

The Financial Investigations Branch of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service continues to improve the way officers investigate money laundering and terrorist financing in Trinidad and Tobago.

At Wednesday's Police Press Briefing, Deputy Director of the Financial Investigations Branch, Acting Assistant Superintendent Terrence Pierre, said for the year, the FIB has seen some success and remains committed to fighting crime.

In May, the Acting Commissioner of Police assigned 17 new investigators to the Financial Investigations Branch.
