Gov't To Spend US$7M To Upgrade Radar Systems

Government will spend some US$7 million to upgrade the existing coastal radar systems throughout Trinidad and Tobago.

Minister of National Security, Stuart Young, on Thursday, assured that the radar systems are operational.

He said, however, the warranty on the radars had run out, and so Government has also taken a decision to be the service providers regarding the connectivity for the radar systems.
