TT To Host Conservation Conference Next Week

Conserving the earth's biodiversity and the sustainability of development in the Caribbean is a matter that depends on how we treat the land and its inhabitants.

This is at the base of a regional meeting on the subject, and Chair of the Conference, Dr. Luke Rostant, says it's the first of its kind in the territory.

Director of Sustainable Innovation Initiatives, Dr. Nigel Noriega, says the idea of how countries interact at the spatial level, and how this affects the economy and the lives of the citizens, will be an important part of the discussion.

Despite the seeming esoteric nature of the idea of conservation, both
Professors believe that it is a subject which will benefit the Caribbean.
