Voting Continues In Barataria And Belmont East For Local Government Elections

Voting for Local Government Election candidates continues as residents of Barataria and Belmont East, head to the polls today.

According to the Elections and Boundaries Commission, there are five polling stations in Belmont East and eight in Barataria.

The People's National Movement. The United National Congress and the Progressive Empowerment Party, each has two candidates vying for success in today's by-election.

C News reporter Cherrylene Lewis chatted with Barataria resident, Narine Singh, who shared what he expects from the successful candidate.
