The Judiciary is refuting claims by a member of the Senate that it has not produced accounts to the Auditor General for the period 2014 to 2017.

The matter was raised in the Senate on June 21st.

The Judiciary has since issued a release which says that the accounts have in fact been filed.

It says its records show that the accounts were filed with the Auditor General for the years 2013 to 2017.

The release further states that these erroneous statements have been repeated by the media and the Law Association, and which have damaged the integrity of the Judiciary and its accounting officers.
