Man Shot Dead In Laventille

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in St Barbs, Laventille, on Friday morning.

Reports say at around 5am, the body of a man of East Indian descent was discovered at Sandy Trace.

C News understands residents heard gunfire and later found the body on the roadway in a pool of blood.

The man has been identified as Christoph Lakatoo of Bon Air Gardens in Arouca. Police say his body was dumped in the area.
