Serious Crime Down In South Trinidad

The Southern Division of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service has reported an 11% decrease in serious crimes.

At the Weekly TTPS Press Briefing, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Peter Ramdeen, listed some statistics showing a decrease in fraud, robberies, sexual offences and larceny.

He also spoke on the detection rate and the improvements that have taken place in the Southern Division.

ASP Ramdeen urged members of the public to be more vigilant and aware of their surroundings.
