Galleons Passage To Sail For T&T After Stalled Works In Cuba

The Government has taken a decision to bring the M.V. Galleons Passage to Trinidad and Tobago from Cuba immediately after the seller said that there was some difficulty in transporting some of the materials and equipment needed for retrofitting works to Cuba.

Acting Prime Minister Colm Imbert gave the update while answering a question in the House of Representatives on Wednesday.

He was asked to inform the House whether retrofitting works on the vessel had been completed.

He said the decision to do the enhancement works on the vessel was part of the contractual responsibility of the seller.
