Siparia Family Homeless After Fire

A fire in Siparia on Monday afternoon has left three people without a home.

The alarm was raised at around 1:30pm when neighbours said they saw flames coming from the kitchen of the home.

Fortunately, no one was at home at the time but fire fighters were unable to save the house, which was totally gutted.

Amilcar Franklin, one of the occupants of the house along the Siparia Main Road, said while it's a loss for them, it could have been worse.
